Tunnel To Towers 2011
9 11 of 2011 marks the 10 year anniversary of the September 22, 2001, attacks on our country which took so many American lives.
For the past 9 years, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Run has been taking place in NYC on September 11th. This year, they are holding the event two weeks later to allow associated local events to take place on 9 11 itself.
The Connecticut Blue Star Mothers will be participating by hosting a 9 11 event which will include a run/walk, a dinner, and we hope a bike run. We are at present putting the program together at this time. We hope you will join with us. Look for more information coming here on this page -- on the upcoming Facebook page -- and posted throughout local communities.
